The Devil's Feather winners announced

The Devil's Feather coverThank you to everyone who took part in our recent competition to win a signed proof copy of The Devil's Feather, Minette's latest book. We must admit, the questions were a bit tickey, especially the last one - many of you were caught out by Jonathan Hughes "real" racial roots!

Congratulations - and a signed proof - go out to:

Asa, in Sweden; Cathy and Rita, both in Australia; Chas, in Canada; Wendy and Jaime, both in the US; and Lesley, Lindsay, Michael and Carolann, all in the UK.

The only caveat was that they each had to send us a brief review, so look for those here in the next few weeks!

If you're curious, here are the questions (with a link to the answers at the end in case you'd like to test your knowledge of Minette's books!):

1) The Ice House: What were the names of the dogs that found the body in the actual ice house?

2) The Sculptress: Olive called her sister Amber, instead of her real name of Alison. Why?

3) The Scold's Bridle: What was the name of Mathilda Gillespie’s husband?

4) The Dark Room: What was Jinx Kingsley's job?

5) The Echo: Who was Billy Blake?

6) The Breaker: Where was Kate Sumner’s body found?

7) The Shape of Snakes: Derek Slater once tells Michael Percy that his mother reminded him of a certain kind of snake. What kind was it?

8) Acid Row: Where does the name Acid Row come from?

9) Fox Evil: What was the relationship between Wolfie and Fox?

10) Disordered Minds: What were Jonathan Hughes' racial roots (the nationality of his mother and father)?

Click here to see how well you did!
