Minette receives honorary doctorate

Minette's adaptations on DVD

The television adaptations of Minette's first five books were released on DVD by the BBC in 2005. This five-DVD boxset contains dramatisations of: The Ice House; The Sculptress; The Scold's Bridle; The Dark Room; and The Echo.

Disordered Minds fares well at Harrogate

We'd like to say "Congratulations!" to Mark Billingham, whose novel Lazy Bones picked up this year's Theakston's "Old Peculier" Crime Novel of the Year Award held at the Harrogate Crime Writing Festival. Some of you may recall that Minette and Mark co-hosted a "master class" in crime writing at the 2004 London Book Fair.

Also, reader and fellow author Chris High was kind enough to send us an excellent synopsis of Disordered Minds and all the short-listed books.

Minette joins local celebs for tsunami disaster appeal

Local Dorset celebrities recently took part in a fundraising dinner to help raise money for the tsunami appeal. Minette was joined by singer Billy Bragg, South Dorset MP Jim Knight and others in raising £2,000 for the appeal.
