Wow! Couldn't put it down. Housework came to a standstill last week as I just had to read one more page... Thoroughly enjoyable story that keeps you guessing all the way through. You really get to know the thoughts and feelings of the characters.

The main story is why this, why that but why is not always the word but an ending. All I will say is that once you start reading this novel you won't want to put it down. As each chapter unfolds, the next is more revealing but it's easy on the brain. By chapter 14, you may think you have sorted out who done what! But this is Minette at her best and no, it was not "that" young man!
